A form of treatment involving an experienced facilitator and three or more individuals that constitute a membership that can be defined by a shared, therapeutic purpose.
Groups may form for "support" (e.g., Alcoholics Anonymous), skills training (e.g., Anger Management), therapy (i.e., to target a specific psychiatric problem, such as PTSD or grief/loss), and so on.
Groups with us are process oriented. These are interactive and exploratory, designed to help participants better understand themselves and work through difficult emotional experiences that arise in the group experience.
